Destination wedding
For me, photographing a destination wedding in Sicily means capturing the beauty of my homeland through the eyes of someone who has always lived here.
I was born here and have chosen to make my home here. I know the light, the landscapes, the silence, the colours and that beauty which is unique to Sicily – and which I continue to gaze upon with the wonder of someone discovering it for the first time, time and time again.
Capturing a wedding in Sicily, therefore, means capturing much more than just a special day. It means delving into the history of a place and allowing that place to become part of the story of two people.
The landscapes, the architecture and the Mediterranean light: every element becomes part of the story.
I seek elegant and natural images, capable of capturing the true beauty of Sicily and the emotion of the moment.
For this reason, I strongly believe in a visual narrative that has its own identity, capable of conveying the emotions experienced on the wedding day.
Sicily does not need to be transformed to be portrayed. It needs to be observed. And, above all, it needs to be portrayed by those who know it, live it and continue to love it deeply.
